Shakti Workshop with Bhutanese Hindu Refugee Kids in Texas, March 2019

Community interactions are at the heart of what we do at Shaktitva Foundation because it allows us to develop a solid understanding of the daily life and struggles of the community by interacting with them, working with them and learning with them. It also allows us to clarify, simplify and improve our ideas by aligning them with the lived experience(s) of Hindu women. Through these workshops, we wish to build community engagement and introduce people to Shaktitva, in a way that positively impacts their daily lives and helps us solidify our foundations.

Through Shakti Workshops, we navigate through complex issues that relate to day-to-day lives of people by having open conversations, learning and teaching, but most importantly, listening. We work with diverse crowds, and all age-groups. We customize our content to the audience so that we can maximize the impact and learning from our workshops.
