An important part of our mission at Shaktitva, is to conduct and facilitate original research in to understanding the innate gender balance in Hindu tradition, culture and philosophy, and looking at how the interplay of modern values and India’s history of colonialism has changed the lived experience of Hindu women today.
Towards that affect, Shaktitva Foundation is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for Gayatri Grant for scholars interested in conducting research on topics that align with our mission. The grant would include a cash award, special access to high-quality research resources and as well as the Shaktitva network.
Grant eligibility
Grant applications can be made by individual scholars or teams.
Applicants do not have to be affiliated to an academic institution to apply but they must have demonstrable expertise in the subject of their research.
Topic of research must align with Shaktitva Foundation’s mission.
Applicants must clearly state the topic, method and expected outcomes of their research proposals along with a bio clearly stating the qualifications of the researchers.
Shaktitva Foundation does not guarantee a grant upon submission of the proposal.
Gayatri Grants will be awarded after evaluation of the proposal by our team of advisors.
